The Kingsland Manor participates in the Senior Scholastic Awards Program each spring, awarding a scholarship to a Nutley High School student who will be attending college after graduation. The spring of 2021 will be the third year the Kingsland Manor will be presenting a scholarship to a deserving Nutley student interested in community service and Nutley history.
Kingsland Manor’s Dorothy Greengrove Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Dorothy Greengrove, a lifelong member of Nutley who dedicated over 46 years working to restore and maintain Nutley's historic homestead. Known as a guardian of Nutley's history, Dorothy served as a president of the Manor and was actively involved in numerous community activities serving Nutley.

Students who apply for the scholarship are requested to write a 1-2 page double spaced essay answering either of the following questions:
1) Describe something you have done that demonstrated an interest in local history.
2) How has visiting a New Jersey historic site or attending a historical event in the state influenced your career plans?
