A Fold-down writing Desk was received by the Trust in 1976 from Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hanson of Cottage Place, Nutley. The Hansons were socially active in Nutley, and Mr. Hanson was president of the Canterbury Club at Grace Church.

The desk is displayed in the Office and has three drawers below the fold-down leaf. The leaf is supported by two pull-out arms. Inside, the desk has six pigeonholes on the left and a small drawer on the right. It measures 41.5” high by 49” across and is made of oak.
